Yoga: A Behavioral Health Workshop
This workshop explains the original Bikram Hatha Yoga 26 & 2 series in terms of the latest research in neuroscience, body psychology, and nervous system health. This workshop series will inspire you to engage with this yoga practice and/or deepen it through developing your attention, interoceptive awareness, and more. It’s also excellent professional development for current and aspiring Bikram yoga teachers, as I explain the psychotherapeutic benefits and effects of the practice including the use of 105/40 heat, mirrors, breath-work, focus and concentration, movement, stillness and static holds, and the repetition and rhythm intrinsic to the proper and consistent delivery of the original Bikram Yoga Dialogue.
